The Boars Head has a new landlord & landlady who have recently taken over the Boars head. Chris & Karen would like to take the opportunity to invite you all into your local pub, The Boars Head, and sample the many great drinks we have to offer.

Called in tonight the landlady an landlord were brilliant got us a table , service from staff excellent nothing to much trouble when I asked for the mushroom starter to come out at the same time as my partners main course . Food was lovely and customer service skills were excellent kept doing check backs it was busy with a great atmosphere , even when we left they acknowledged us and said have a great holiday...have travelled many times past the road when staying at the hotel and didn't know it was there , we will certainly be calling again and I will definitely mention it when I go back to work and anyone says they are staying in the area. What I call a proper pub keep doing what your doing .
Very quiet when we ate at Boars Head. We tried as we live locally, it's like a tardis inside with nice architectural features. We both had pies- steak and kidney, steak and blue cheese with proper pub cooked chips. All in all a good experience.
This pub and the staff are amazing! The landlady remembered me from several years ago and made me feel very welcome. The food is amazing, especially the Carvery on a Sunday, excellent home cooked food. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. I would visit more often if I could but living in Berkshire is a bit of a drive!
We were a large group of 15. All had cavery and also catered for vegetarian. Brilliant hot food. Great atmosphere. Staff are fantastic
We've eaten here twice this week. It has a nice cozy atmosphere, all the staff are friendly n helpful. Good choice of food n drink, and great value for money. I had Steak n Blue Cheese Pie, chips n peas, very tasty and very filling. Then 2nd visit was The Sunday Roast, Pork, Gammon or Beef, pigs in blankets yorkies, all looked nice n fresh, great choice of veg, especially enjoyed the leeks in a creamy sauce. Well Done Boars Head, you run a great bar, we will be back soon

The Boars Head serves up classic pub grub, including a Sunday Carvery, served every Sunday!
The Sunday Carvery is second to none with our three meat roast with all the trimmings and you must try our Marmite potatoes, and homemade sausage meat and apricot stuffing. Each week we offer a homemade soup starter, free. Children under 8 Eat a free carvery with a paying adult
We offer on the menu a variety of freshly made pub classics, sharing platters & light bites, Vegetarians and Vegan options.
At the bar we have an extensive range of drinks available and continually changing guest ales. We offer a selection of real ales, bottled and draught beers, lagers & ciders, quality wines, spirits and soft drinks too.
